What Happened?
On April 27, 2026, Maximus learned of a security incident involving the Nebraska Provider Data Management System (PDMS), which the company operates for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Medicaid Operations. The PDMS is used to enroll healthcare providers who serve Medicaid enrollees in Nebraska.
Maximus began an investigation and notified the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services the same day. By June 16, 2026, the company determined that certain personal information may have been impacted.
