What Happened?
On April 2, 2026, Manzil discovered unauthorized access to its computer network.
The company contained the affected systems and launched an investigation with external cybersecurity professionals. By May 6, 2026, it was determined that between April 2 and April 3, 2026, certain files containing personal information of some clients were potentially accessed by an unauthorized party.
The breach was reported to the New Hampshire Attorney General on June 5, 2026. In addition, on April 24, 2026, a threat actor known as “uawrongteam” claimed to have breached Manzil, leaking sensitive user data including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, contact details, and banking-related records.
