What Happened?

MACT Health Board Inc. experienced a data breach that disrupted its IT systems between Nov. 12, 2025, and Nov. 20, 2025. The breach was discovered after unauthorized access to files on the organization’s systems.

An investigation, assisted by third-party forensic experts and law enforcement, determined that sensitive information belonging to patients and employees was exposed.

The review of affected files was completed on Jan. 9, 2026. The types of information exposed include the following:
