What Happened?
Luminis Health recently experienced a cybersecurity incident that disrupted certain systems across its organization.
The incident was publicly disclosed after a cyberattack was detected, prompting Luminis Health to take action, including launching an investigation with external cybersecurity experts and legal counsel.
As a result of the attack, several systems, including MyChart, became temporarily unavailable. Some appointments and services were affected, and patients were advised to confirm upcoming appointments by phone. The organization stated that its top priority remains providing safe, high-quality care while responding to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and it is not yet confirmed whether patient information was compromised. The breach was posted on the open web on Sept. 3, 2026.
