What Happened?

On March 6, 2026, L&S Mechanical disclosed a data breach to the Texas Attorney General office.

The hacking group known as Space Bears claimed responsibility for the attack, stating they obtained the organization’s database and threatened to publish it on the dark web. The exposed data reportedly includes project documentation, financial documents and personal information of employees and clients.

Information Exposed:

  • Names of individuals
  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver’s license numbers
  • Government-issued ID numbers (including state ID cards, passports, credit or debit card numbers)
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Financial information (such as account numbers)

At this time, 5,139 people in Texas have been affected.
