What Happened?
On Oct. 18, 2025, Leggett & Platt’s pharmacy benefits manager, MedImpact Healthcare Systems Inc., identified unauthorized activity within certain systems in its environment.
After discovering the breach, MedImpact secured the affected systems and brought in cybersecurity experts to investigate.
A detailed review revealed that certain data related to participants in the Leggett & Platt Employee Benefits Plan was part of the potentially impacted information. The types of personal information exposed varied from person to person but may have included first and last names and other personal information.
The company reported the breach to the California Attorney General on Sept. 15, 2026.
