The investigation revealed that between April 29 and April 30, 2026, an unauthorized actor accessed certain applications and storage locations within Landstar’s environment.
By May 22, 2026, Landstar determined that information related to certain individuals was present in the exposed files.
Information Exposed:
- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Driver’s license numbers
- Government ID numbers
The breach impacted individuals in several states, including 726 in Texas, 23 in Maine, 7 in Massachusetts and three in Vermont.
Landstar began notifying affected individuals by U.S. mail on June 11, 2026.
