What happened?
On Dec. 6, 2024, Lands' End detected unauthorized access to a portion of its corporate network. An investigation confirmed on that Aug. 3, 2025, personal information belonging to some current and former employees, as well as some of their dependents, was accessed.
The breach impacted at least 10,060 people in the United States, including seven in Maine. Lands' End notified affected consumers in writing on Aug. 13, 2025. The cybersecurity incident was also disclosed to the Maine and Montana Attorney Generals' offices on the same day.
