What Happened?
On June 2, 2022, LRVNA discovered suspicious activity in its email environment.
The organization activated its incident response protocols, bringing in external cybersecurity experts to investigate. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized individual had accessed one LRVNA email account, which contained emails potentially holding personal information.
LRVNA completed a review of the affected emails on Aug. 13, 2026, determining what information was involved and who was impacted. Letters were mailed to people whose addresses were on file, providing more details and resources.
LRVNA has since changed email passwords, enabled multi-factor authentication and taken other steps to strengthen security. At this time, the personal information compromised as a result of the breach remains undisclosed.
