What happened?
In August 2025, Karndean Designflooring was the victim of a ransomware attack carried out by the hacking group CRYPTO24. On Aug. 12, 2025, CRYPTO24 posted about the breach on a dark web portal. By Aug. 15, 2025, the hackers revealed Karndean’s full domain name and uploaded over 600 GB of compromised data for public download on the dark web.
The data breach compromised personally identifiable information (PII) belonging to an unknown number of individuals. Karndean disclosed the cyberattack to the Massachusetts Attorney General's office on Sept. 30, 2025.
