What happened?
In April 2025, Independent Title Agency experienced a data breach compromising sensitive customer data. On April 17, 2025, ITA learned that its systems had been infiltrated in a ransomware attack carried out by a group known as SKIRA TEAM.
The attackers claimed to have stolen 932.4 GB of company data and threatened to publish this information on the dark web by April 25, 2025. Independent Title Agency began notifying affected individuals on July 18, 2025.
