What Happened?
On Nov. 10, 2025, Home, Hope and Healing learned of unusual activity on its systems. Third-party investigators were brought in to assess the situation.
The investigation revealed that unauthorized access to the company’s network occurred between Nov. 9, 2025, and Nov. 12, 2025. During this period, certain files were copied and taken from the network.
The company disclosed the breach to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Jan. 9, 2026, and to the Vermont Attorney General’s office on Oct. 8, 2026.
