On July 17, 2026, Gardiner Family Chiropractic discovered a data breach impacting its systems.
The incident was later disclosed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Aug. 14, 2026. The breach was the result of a ransomware attack by a group known as INTERLOCK, who claimed to have obtained 40 GB of the organization’s data. The breach was posted on the dark web on July 31, 2026.
A total of 5,000 people in the United States were reported to have been affected.
The exposed data included sensitive personal and health information.
