What Happened?
On Jan. 8, 2026, Fresenius discovered that a third party claimed to have accessed certain company data without authorization.
The company brought in external forensic experts and launched an investigation. The breach occurred between Jan. 6 and Jan. 9, 2026, affecting a network associated with Fresenius’s subsidiary, Ivenix.
Although the company reports there is no evidence that information was downloaded or misused, the investigation revealed on April 29, 2026, that personal information belonging to employees, customers and minor dependents may have been exposed.
