What Happened?

FMRS Health Systems discovered irregular activity on its computer systems on Feb. 27, 2026.

After investigating, the company determined that there was unauthorized access to certain systems from Jan. 20 to Feb. 27, 2026. During this time, files were copied by an unauthorized party. FMRS confirmed that its electronic health record and email systems were not impacted.

The breach was reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on April 28, 2026.

The ransomware group Qilin claimed responsibility for the attack and posted about the breach on the dark web on March 13, 2026.
