What Happened?
A data breach involving First Advantage Corporation was discovered on Nov. 17, 2025. The unauthorized access occurred between Nov. 13, 2025, and Nov. 17, 2025. According to official disclosures, an unauthorized third party accessed a small number of Profile Advantage accounts using valid login credentials. First Advantage Corp. became aware of the unauthorized activity on Dec. 10, 2025, and immediately began an investigation and response process.
The breach exposed sensitive personal information of affected individuals. The company notified consumers in writing beginning April 21, 2026. In total, 4,669 people in the United States were affected, including 1,342 in Texas, 12 in Massachusetts, three in Maine and one in Montana.

First Advantage Corp. stated there is no evidence that login credentials were taken from their systems, but recommended changing passwords for accounts that use the same email and password combination.
