The office provides eye and vision care services to patients in the local community and is located at 1710 SW 9th Ave., Ste. 112, Battle Ground, WA.

What Happened?

On March 3, 2026, First Sight Family Vision was informed by its third-party electronic prescription provider, RXNT, that a data breach had occurred. RXNT is a company that supplies cloud-based software for electronic prescribing, practice management and electronic health records to healthcare providers.

According to RXNT, unauthorized activity was detected on one of their systems between March 1 and March 3, 2026. An internal investigation, supported by cybersecurity experts, revealed that an unauthorized actor accessed certain data stored on the system.

RXNT notified affected customers starting May 1, 2026. A total of 1,225 individuals in the United States were affected by this breach.

The information involved varies by individual but may include sensitive personal and medical details:

Information Exposed:

  • Names
  • Dates of birth
  • Demographic information (addresses, contact information, patient IDs)
  • Prescription information (prescribing provider, prescription details, receiving pharmacy)
  • Social Security numbers (in limited instances)

No payment card, bank account or other financial information was involved in this incident.
