What Happened?

In May 2025, Digital WarRoom experienced a significant data breach. On or around May 13, 2025, the company identified unusual activity in its IT network. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized person had copied certain data from the environment.

Consumer Information Exposed:

  • Name

The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office on Oct. 24, 2025. According to the disclosure, two individuals in Massachusetts were affected. Your Rights and Next Steps

If you received a notice from Digital WarRoom, it means your personal information was included in the affected documents.

Important steps to take:

  • Enroll in the complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services offered through Epiq. Instructions and an activation code should be included in your notification letter.
  • Monitor your financial accounts and credit reports for any suspicious activity. You are entitled to one free credit report annually from each of the three major credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
  • Consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze on your credit file. A fraud alert makes it harder for identity thieves to open accounts in your name, while a credit freeze restricts access to your credit report entirely.
  • Stay vigilant for signs of identity theft, such as unfamiliar accounts or charges, and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement and the Federal Trade Commission.
  • Review the additional resources provided in the notice for more information about protecting your identity.

Lawyers are ready to help individuals affected by this breach understand their rights and potential options for legal action.
