What happened?

In November 2024, DBM Global Inc. experienced a cybersecurity incident. On Nov. 20, 2024, the company discovered unusual activity that disrupted access to certain systems. On Dec. 6, 2024, it was determined an unauthorized actor acquired personal data of 20,140 individuals.

DBM Global began notifying affected individuals and disclosed the data breach to the California Attorney General's office on Dec. 23, 2024. The incident was reported to the Maine, Massachusetts, Texas and Vermont Attorney Generals' offices beginning on Aug. 11, 2025.
