The investigation determined that certain files were likely impacted by the incident, and by March 16, 2026, it was confirmed that these files may have included sensitive personal information.

- Government ID numbers
The ransomware group Qilin claimed responsibility for the attack and posted about it on the dark web on Dec. 12, 2025.
The breach was reported to the Maine and Vermont attorneys general on May 5, 2026, and written notices were sent to affected individuals on the same date.
