What happened?

On April 10, 2025, Continental Bank discovered that an unauthorized party attempted to access its internal network through a recently published vulnerability in the CrushFTP server software. An investigation determined that the data breach compromised sensitive customer personal and financial data.

Continental Bank posted an updated Notice of Data Security Incident on its website on Aug. 4, 2025 and is notifying impacted individuals by mail. The data breach was also disclosed to the New Hampshire Attorney General's office on Aug. 8, 2025.
