What Happened?
Columbia Pacific Advisors discovered a data breach on or about June 2, 2026, after a thorough investigation into a cybersecurity event.
The breach itself occurred on Nov. 26, 2025, when an unauthorized third party accessed certain systems within the company’s network. After reviewing the affected data, the company determined that sensitive information may have been viewed or taken without authorization.

- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Driver's license or Washington ID card numbers
- Financial and banking information
- Full dates of birth
- Passport numbers
- Health insurance policy or ID numbers
- Medical information
- Usernames and passwords/security question answers
- U.S. active registration numbers
- U.S. alien registration numbers
- System access information
- Tax access information
- Taxpayer identification numbers
The breach impacted at least 1,585 Washington residents, nine Massachusetts residents and one Vermont resident, among others. Columbia Pacific Advisors began notifying affected individuals and regulators on June 12, 2026.
