What Happened?
Cedar Valley Services experienced a data breach involving ransomware.
On Feb. 13, 2026, the company disclosed the breach to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The incident was first posted to the dark web on Dec. 21, 2025, by the hacking group known as Qilin, who claimed to have obtained the organization’s data and posted about the breach on the Tor network.
At this time, there is no official reported number of affected individuals. Furthermore, the full extent of the data types compromised has not been specified, but ransomware incidents often involve the exposure of names, contact details and possibly other sensitive records.
