What happened?

On April 3, 2025, CCI Financial, Inc. discovered a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to its network. After investigating with the help of external cybersecurity professionals, it was determined that some files may have been accessed or removed by unauthorized actors on or around March 21, 2025.

By Aug. 11, 2025, CCI Financial, Inc. confirmed that certain files containing sensitive personal information were potentially impacted. The company began notifying affected individuals by mail on Sept. 10, 2025.

The total number of impacted CCI customers has not been released, but is believed to be in the thousands.
