What Happened?

On March 6, 2026, C2N Diagnostics discovered it had been targeted by a cyberattack.

The incident resulted in unauthorized access to a number of employees’ stored email communications, which contained personal information. C2N took steps to contain the attack and launched a thorough investigation.

The investigation determined that the following types of consumer information were exposed:

Information Exposed:

  • Dates of birth
  • Contact information
  • Health insurance information
  • Health information, including blood test analysis results
  • Social security numbers

C2N stated that financial information, such as credit or debit card numbers, bank account information and account passwords, was not involved in this incident.

The breach was reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on April 27, 2026. A total of 2,027 people in the United States were affected as a result of this breach.
