What Happened?

BMG of Kansas experienced a ransomware attack that resulted in a data breach. The incident was first posted on the dark web by the Qilin ransomware group on Nov. 10, 2025. The group claimed to have obtained sensitive data from the organization and posted information about the breach on the Tor network.

The data breach was officially disclosed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Feb. 26, 2026. According to the disclosure, a total of 1,327 individuals in the United States were affected by this incident.

At this time, the exposed information types have not been dislosed to the public.
