What happened?
BFC Solutions discovered a major data breach after experiencing a network disruption that affected access to certain systems. An investigation revealed that unauthorized access or acquisition of data took place between June 18, 2024, and June 20, 2024.
The company completed its review of the incident on June 11, 2025, and began notifying affected individuals in writing on Aug. 14, 2025. The data breach affected at least 8,371 people, including 838 in Texas, 100 in Massachusetts and 14 in Maine.
