What Happened?

On July 15, 2025, Atlas Transfer & Storage Co. discovered suspicious activity within its computer systems.

An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had copied certain files from the network on that same day. The company took steps to secure its systems and began a thorough review to determine what information was involved and which individuals were affected.

The Akira ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack and posted some of the stolen data on the dark web, including financial records, employee and customer information.

According to the notice, the following types of consumer information were exposed:
