Ariel Clinical Services serves communities across Colorado, including the Western Slope, Front Range and Colorado Springs, with a team of more than 60 employees.

What Happened?

On July 28, 2025, Ariel Clinical Services detected unusual activity involving certain employee email accounts. A cybersecurity investigation determined that an unauthorized party accessed emails from an employee’s account on July 25, 2025, and July 29, 2025. While it is unclear if any specific emails were viewed or opened, the presence of sensitive information in these accounts put many individuals at risk.

Information Exposed:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Financial card number with access codes
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information

Ariel Clinical Services notified affected individuals and took steps to enhance the security of their network environment. The breach was disclosed to the Montana Attorney General’s office on Dec. 8, 2025. While only one Montana resident was reported as affected, the scope may be broader for individuals in other states.
