What Happened?
In late July 2026, AnMed experienced a cybersecurity incident involving malware that disrupted its network.
The breach led to a shutdown of computer systems, phones and internet access across multiple facilities. AnMed responded by activating established downtime procedures to continue providing patient care and began working with third-party cybersecurity specialists to investigate the incident and restore systems.
As of July 27, 2026, AnMed has not yet confirmed the full scope of the breach or the specific types of information that may have been compromised.
