What Happened?

Alico recently learned that one of its service providers, Kaaj Technologies Inc., experienced a data privacy incident. Kaaj provides a credit analysis platform used by Alico to process small business loan applications.

On Jan. 13, 2026, Kaaj detected unauthorized access to its systems and determined that some data was copied. Alico was informed of the incident on Feb. 11, 2026. The affected database included certain loan application information provided by or on behalf of AILCO.

While the specific data varies by individual, the following types of information were generally exposed:
