What Happened?
Ahold Delhaize USA Services discovered a major data breach that affected 2,242 521 individuals across the United States. On November 6, 2024, Ahold Delhaize USA Services discovered suspicious activity and an investigation determined that an unauthorized third party obtained sensitive files their internal U.S. file repositories between November 5 and 6, 2024.
The cybersecurity incident exposed both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) of current and former employees and other individuals connected with Ahold Delhaize USA companies.
