Women's Center for Radiology, a women's focused medical imaging practice in Orlando, Florida, disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to its computer network.
Between April 26, 2026, and April 28, 2026, an unauthorized party gained access to a limited subset of Women's Center for Radiology's computer network. During that window, certain files stored on the network were accessed or downloaded without authorization.
After detecting the suspicious activity, the company took steps to contain the incident and launched a thorough investigation with the support of third-party cybersecurity specialists to determine the full scope of the unauthorized access.
The investigation confirmed the unauthorized access and identified the specific files that had been affected. The company then worked to secure the compromised information and conducted a detailed review to determine what data was contained in those files and which individuals' information was involved in the breach.
The types of information exposed vary by individual but may include names, addresses, dates of birth, contact information, diagnosis or condition, lab results, treating physician, medical record number, health insurance information and driver's license numbers.
The company posted a notice of the data privacy event to its website on June 26, 2026. Women's Center for Radiology discovered the suspicious activity on April 29, 2026.
The total number of individuals affected has not been disclosed in the company's notice.
Women's Center for Radiology encouraged individuals to remain vigilant by reviewing account statements and credit reports. It also suggested that individuals consider placing a fraud alert on their credit report if they believe they may be a victim of identity theft.
Women's Center for Radiology has set up a dedicated phone line for individuals who have questions about the event. The number is 844-507-8933. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, excluding major U.S. holidays.
