Walsh Financial Services Data Breach Exposes SSNs and Financial Data

Walsh Financial Services LLC, a St. Louis, Missouri-based financial planning firm, disclosed a data breach involving an unauthorized intrusion into a company email account.

The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Sept. 24, 2026. The total number of individuals affected across the United States was not disclosed in the available filings.

An unauthorized party gained access to a Walsh Financial Services email account that may have stored sensitive personal data. The company did not disclose specific dates for when the intrusion occurred or when it was first discovered.

The compromised email account was found to contain the names, Social Security numbers and financial account information of affected individuals.

Walsh Financial Services' response to the breach

Walsh Financial Services is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company. specializing in fraud assistance and remediation.

To enroll, affected individuals can visit the Cyberscout enrollment page and enter the unique code included in their notification letter. Enrollment must be completed within 90 days of the date of the letter.

Walsh Financial Services has also established a dedicated call center for individuals with questions about the incident. The call center can be reached at 1-800-405-6108, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, excluding U.S. holidays. Individuals may also write to the company at 11433 Olde Cabin Road, Suite 250, St. Louis, MO 63141.

The company encouraged affected individuals to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud over the next 12 to 24 months by reviewing account statements and monitoring free credit reports for suspicious activity, according to the notification letter.
