VacPartsWarehouse.com LLC, an online retailer that does business as PartsWarehouse.com, recently disclosed a data breach involving its online shopping platform.
The breach has so far impacted 238 Maine residents and 139 Vermont residents. PartsWarehouse.com began notifying consumers by written letter on May 20, 2026.
Between Oct. 31, 2025, and Dec. 12, 2025, unauthorized actor gained access to VacPartsWarehouse.com's online shopping platform. Customers who made purchases on the website during that roughly six-week window could be affected.
After concluding its investigation, the company determined that the compromised data could have included customers' names, addresses, payment card numbers, expiration dates and card verification codes.
PartsWarehouse.com's written notification letters to affected individuals specify the last four digits of the specific payment card that may have been compromised. This detail can help recipients determine which card to watch closely or consider replacing.
The company also set up a dedicated, toll-free call center for people who have questions about the incident. Affected consumers can reach the call center at 844-576-3169, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time, excluding some major U.S. holidays.
The notification letter advised consumers to review their payment card statements for unauthorized charges and to report any suspicious activity to their card issuer right away.
