T.A. Solberg Co. Inc., a Wisconsin-based holding company headquartered in Minocqua, Wisconsin, disclosed a data breach that may have exposed consumers' sensitive personal information.

T.A. Solberg discovered unauthorized access to certain systems on its network. Upon discovery of the intrusion, the company launched an investigation and engaged an outside cybersecurity firm to assist in determining the scope of the incident.

The investigation determined that an unauthorized individual had both viewed and obtained certain files from the company's network.

A review of the files revealed that they compromised sensitive personal and health information including the names, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification card numbers, passport numbers, financial account information, pay card information, medical information and health insurance information.

The company's notification did not specify the exact dates during which the unauthorized access took place or when the investigation began and concluded.

The breach was reported to the Vermont Attorney General on July 6, 2026, and posted a data security incident notice on its website. T.A. Solberg began notifying affected individuals on July 3, 2023.

The total number of individuals affected across the United States was not disclosed in the available filings.

T.A. Solberg encouraged affected individuals to remain vigilant and to monitor their account statements, credit reports and explanations of benefits for any suspicious or unauthorized activity. It also advised individuals to report any unauthorized activity to their financial institutions and to contact the appropriate government agencies if they suspect fraud.
