Station Casinos LLC has disclosed a data breach involving Social Security numbers that was discovered on March 5, 2026.

On March 5, 2026, Station Casinos identified suspicious activity associated with its network, according to the company's notification to consumers. The company initiated its incident response protocols and took steps to secure its systems. According to regulatory filings, the breach occurred on March 5, 2026, the same date the suspicious activity was detected.

An investigation into the incident continued for several weeks as the company worked to understand the full scope of the breach. On April 15, 2026, the investigation determined that some personal information may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual, according to the notification.

The types of personal information exposed in the breach included names and Social Security numbers. Social Security numbers are among the most sensitive types of personal data.

The breach impacted 43,834 total individuals, including one Maine resident, one Vermont resident and 13 Massachusetts residents. Station Casinos began notifying affected individuals in writing on May 21, 2026.

Station Casinos' response

Station Casinos is offering affected individuals complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Experian IdentityWorks. The length of coverage varies, with some individuals receiving 12 months and others receiving 24 months of service. Each affected person received a unique activation code in their written notification that can be used to enroll.

The membership also includes Experian IdentityWorks ExtendCare, which provides the same level of identity restoration support even after the membership period has ended. Additionally, the service comes with up to $1 million in identity theft insurance, underwritten and administered by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, an Assurant company, according to the notification.

Station Casinos has set up a dedicated assistance line for affected individuals at 888-500-5641. The line is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Individuals who have questions about the Experian IdentityWorks product or who need help with identity restoration can also contact Experian's customer care team at 877-288-8057
