
Restorative Therapies Inc., a medical device company that develops functional electrical stimulation therapy systems for neurorehabilitation, disclosed a data breach that exposed sensitive personal and medical information.
The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on Sept. 26, 2026.
The breach is tied to a ransomware attack claimed by a hacking group called AiLock. On May 29, 2026, AiLock , a ransomware group, posted a claim on the Tor dark web network stating it had obtained 145 gigabytes of data from Restorative Therapies.
The types of information exposed included medical records.
Restorative Therapies, through Kroll, is providing complimentary identity monitoring services. Affected individuals can activate their monitoring by visiting Kroll's enrollment page and entering the membership number provided in their notification letter.
Restorative Therapies also set up a dedicated call center for questions about the incident. Those affected can call 844-301-0138, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time, excluding major U.S. holidays.
