
On Nov. 17, 2025, Privia Medical Group West Texas PLLC, a multispecialty physician group based in Abilene, Texas, experienced a cybersecurity incident resulting in the exposure of sensitive personal, health, and financial data.
The breach was first reported to the Texas Attorney General on Nov. 17, 2025. Additionally, the breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation.
The compromised information may have included names, addresses, birth dates, Social Security numbers, government-issued ID numbers, financial information, medical information, and health insurance details.
The breach affected 74,456 individuals, previously 2,024, in Texas and ten in Massachusetts.
Affected individuals were notified via U.S. mail.
