Premier Select Sires Data Breach Exposes SSNs

Premier Select Sires Inc., a farmer-owned cooperative that provides bovine genetics, reproduction services and herd management products to dairy and beef cattle producers, has disclosed a data breach involving sensitive personal and financial information.

The company filed a disclosure with the Vermont Attorney General on July 9, 2026. At this time, 376 Vermont residents, 37 Massachusetts residents and 28 New Hampshire residents were identified as affected by the breach.

The types of consumer information exposed in the breach included Social Security numbers, financial account codes and credit and debit account information.
