IES Data Breach Exposes Medical Records of Patients

Integrative Emergency Services, a Dallas-based healthcare services company, disclosed a data breach involving patient protected health information.

IES posted a notice of the incident on its website, detailing the event.

On June 16, 2026, IES noticed suspicious activity involving one employee's email account. The company secured the compromised account within 24 hours and began an investigation into what had occurred.

The investigation found that an unauthorized person had gained access to the employee's email account for just over four hours before the account was secured.

On July 9, 2026, IES learned that one email containing protected health information may have been viewed during the window of unauthorized access. The types of information that may have been exposed included names, health information and medical record identifiers.

The company confirmed that patient addresses, Social Security numbers and financial account information were not involved in the incident.
