
Family Farm & Home, a family-owned retailer headquartered in Muskegon, Michigan, disclosed a data breach that occurred in November 2025 and affected approximately 14,032 people in the United States.
The breach impacted 859 Indiana residents, six Massachusetts residents and two Vermont residents. The company began sending notification letters to affected individuals on July 20, 2026.
The data breach occurred on Nov. 6, 2025. The specific method of attack and how the breach occurred have not been publicly disclosed by the company.
On Nov. 28, 2025, a threat actor known as Worldleaks posted a claim on the Tor network alleging that it had obtained data belonging to Family Farm & Home. The group stated its intent to publish the stolen data within one to two days.
The personal information exposed in the breach included Social Security numbers.
The company is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Experian IdentityWorks. Affected individuals can enroll in the credit monitoring program by visiting www.experianidworks.com/1Bcredit and entering the unique activation code included in their notification letter. The deadline to enroll is Oct. 31, 2026.
