Cross Resource Group Data Breach Affects Current and Former Employees

Cross Resource Group, formally known as Cross Recruiting Inc., disclosed a data breach involving the personal information of current and former employees.

The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on June 26, 2026. According to the company's notification letter to affected individuals, Cross Resource Group discovered the incident on or around May 19, 2026.

The incident was a result of a Cross Resource Group employee inadvertently disclosing certain personal information to an unauthorized recipient. Security measures were immediately implemented to contain the incident and mitigate any potential impact.

The types of information potentially exposed included first and last names, addresses, certain payroll information, Social Security numbers, employee tax information and other identifying information.

Cross Resource Group's response to the breach

Cross Resource Group is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services through Cyberscout. The offering includes single bureau credit monitoring, a single bureau credit report and a single bureau credit score.

To enroll in these free services, affected individuals can visit the Cyberscout enrollment page and enter the unique code provided in their notification letter. Enrollment must be completed within 90 days of the date of the letter.

Cross Resource Group has also established a dedicated help line at 1-800-405-6108. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time, excluding holidays, for 90 days from the date of the notification letter.
