Since its founding in 2015, WIRX Pharmacy has focused on providing home-delivery pharmacy services to injured workers, particularly those with workers' compensation claims.

WIRX Pharmacy also manages automated reporting, maintains a professional portal for enrollment and coordinates care to help improve patient outcomes.

What Happened?

On or around Dec. 7, 2025, WIRX Pharmacy discovered suspicious activity in its network environment. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation to determine the scope of the incident.

It was found that unauthorized access or acquisition of data occurred between Dec. 6 and Dec. 7, 2025.

After a comprehensive review, WIRX Pharmacy determined on Jan. 23, 2026, that 20,047 people's personal or protected health information was present in the affected files. Of those affected, 693 were residents of Texas, eight of Massachusetts, four of Maine, and one of New Hampshire.

The company posted a notice of the incident on its website and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was notified.

The breach was reported to the Massachusetts OCABR, New Hampshire Attorney General, and Maine Attorney General on Feb. 12, 2026. The Texas Attorney General was notified the next day.

Information Exposed:

  • Names
  • Clinical information (diagnoses/conditions, medications and other treatment information)
  • Demographic information (Social Security numbers, addresses, dates of birth and other identifiers)
  • Financial account or claims information
