What Happened?
On Aug. 19, 2025, Motility Software Solutions identified suspicious activity on its network. The company responded by taking the impacted server offline to contain the incident and began an investigation with the help of cybersecurity experts. Law enforcement was also notified. Motility’s parent company, Reynolds and Reynolds, confirmed that its own systems were not affected.
The investigation revealed that the breach exposed sensitive information belonging to approximately 760,000 consumers.

- Social Security numbers
Motility has stated that it is notifying impacted consumers and is offering credit monitoring services.
