Founded in 2012, USA DeBusk offers services such as specialty and traditional cleaning, mechanical maintenance, catalyst and chemical handling, waste by-products management and raw material transportation.

What Happened?

On or around Sept. 5, 2025, USA DeBusk experienced unauthorized access on its network, later claimed by a ransomware group known as EMBARGO.

The hackers claimed to have obtained 2 TB of sensitive company data, including contracts, client records, employee personal data and incident reports, which they threatened to publish on the dark web.

The breach was investigated with the help of external cybersecurity experts, and the company blocked further unauthorized access.

USA DeBusk determined on July 6, 2026, that an unauthorized third party had obtained personal information belonging to individuals connected to the company. The breach was reported to the California Attorney General on Aug. 10, 2026.
