What Happened?
On July 20, 2026, The Craneware Group announced it had identified a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to part of its data environment.
The company brought in eternal cybersecurity and incident response specialists to investigate the breach, alongside the company’s internal IT team.
A ransomware group known as CHAOS claimed responsibility for the attack and alleged it had obtained approximately 960 GB of sensitive data. The compromised data reportedly includes confidential health and medical data, internal records, operational blueprints, partner databases, employee files, financial architecture, and credentials.
At this time, the company has not confirmed the types of information compromised.
