
YouLend US LLC, a financial services company and embedded financing platform that helps e-commerce platforms and marketplaces offer funding to businesses, disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to its computer network.
On June 9, 2026, YouLend US LLC received alerts indicating a disruption to its computer network.
Upon identifying the disruption, YouLend US launched an investigation and brought in outside cybersecurity specialists to assist. Working together, the company and the outside specialists determined the scope of the unauthorized access and identified which files were affected.
The investigation found that an unauthorized party had accessed the company's network between June 5, 2026, and June 9, 2026, and that certain files containing personal information had been acquired during that window.
The types of personal information exposed in the breach included names, dates of birth and Social Security numbers.
The breach was reported to the California Attorney General on July 15, 2026. YouLend nailed notification letters to affected consumers on July 15, 2026.
YouLend US LLC is offering affected individuals 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout. To enroll in these services, affected individuals can visit Cyberscout's activation page and enter the unique code included in their notification letter.
YouLend US LLC has also set up a dedicated toll-free phone line for affected individuals who have questions or concerns about the incident. The number is 1-844-671-5730, available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays.
