
Suvida Healthcare LLC, a private primary-care healthcare company based in Austin, Texas, disclosed a data breach that exposed personal and health-related consumer information.
The breach resulted from an external phishing attack on June 16, 2026, which led to an email account becoming compromised. The company disclosed the unauthorized access on the next day.
An investigation revealed that the compromised email account allowed an unauthorized user access to information stored in the account, potentially compromising sensitive patient information.
The breach exposed several categories of sensitive information including names, dates of birth, phone numbers, clinical information, medical information, health insurance information and other information.
The total number of individuals affected across the United States remains undisclosed, although 3,189, previously 2,109, Texas residents were reported as affected.
The breach was disclosed to the Texas Attorney General on July 14, 2026. Additionally, the company posted a notice of the incident on its website.
The company is offering one year of complimentary credit monitoring to affected individuals. Instructions on how to take advantage of the service is included in the notification letter mailed to individuals.
