On Aug. 8, 2025, FuturHealth, a San Diego-based healthtech company, discovered unauthorized activity on one of its internal systems. The company began an investigation and determined that an unauthorized actor had accessed and copied certain files stored within its network between Aug. 8 and Aug. 14, 2025.

After a thorough review, FuturHealth found that the exposed files contained personal information belonging to customers.

As of current public disclosures, it is unknown which types of information were exposed, but may include PHI and PII such as names, health insurance information, and additional sensitive data.

FuturHealth has not disclosed the total number of individuals affected, but the breach was large enough to require notification to state regulators.

The breach was officially reported to the Vermont Attorney General on March 11, 2026.
